Years ago, in times long forgotten, the Queen of Simil created five battalions. Each represented a different element, and each had its own commander. The battalions were to restore the balance of the continent, and unite all the elements in a peaceful way. For over a century, the battalions did just that, with the magical elemental powers that the Queen had given them. All was going as planned by the ancient Queen of Simil, until one day, a rebel was born. He was the commander of the Ice Battalion, and he felt that his battalion was judged as weak and powerless. He led a rebellion, attacking all the other battalions to show them his strength. He then brought the battalion to a place far, far north. The Ice Batallion was never seen or heard from again, and all had thought that the knights had perished on the journey there... until now.
Meanwhile, the other battalions slowly drew away from the control of Simil --whose queen was now dead-- and each found a home in the other countries, and doing so became much closer to their elements.
A few years later, several knights wanted to live for a purpose other than the survival of their battalions. They met and decided to create a new batallion that would fight for true justice in the world. They created the White Batallion, and the Black Batallion followed soon after that. No one really knows what they are up to nowadays, and no one is quite sure if the new batallions really are fighting for good... or for bad.
